Our show year started on 1st Feb 2014 with Rugby & District Canine Society show under breed specialist Clair Clayton. Beattie - Renvall's Beattie Roots was not overly thrilled with the venue, but stormed into 4th place in a large Junior class and Wallis - Renvall's Seen The Light was 2nd in the Open Class behind the eventual Best Of Breed winner.
A happy arrival on 27th Feb. Violet - Renvall's Ultra Violet presented us with 8 bouncing babies, sired by the handsome Riley - Renvall's Life of Riley.
We have 3 bitches (black with white markings) and 5 dogs (black & whites and black with white markings). More info on these babies can be found o the current litters page.
Due to the arrival of Violet's babies, the "Renvall Ravers" weren't entered at Crufts this year, but we were represented by the very lovely Lenny - Renvall's Lentil As Anything for Divatime and Riley - Renvall's Life Of Riley.
Sadly, Lenny was overlooked in the large puppy class (this was only Lenny's 3rd show to date!).
Riley was 5th in the biggest dog class of the day! The judge was breed specialist Elaine Wilson (Djankays).
On 27th April at WELKS Championship show, Riley - Renvall's Life Of Riley, flew the flag for Renvall while we stayed at home with his babies.
Under breed specialist Ken Sinclair (Araki), Riley won a large Post Graduate Dog class. Well done to him and his owner Antonio Skaboullos (Cloudbuster).
A little row of shows for Riley - Renvall's Life of Riley and his owner Antonio.
At Scottish Kennel Club on 18th May under breed specialist Lynne Bateman (Baltoro), Riley was placed 2nd in the Limit dog class.
Then onto Three Counties on 7th June under breed specialist Neil Smith (Tetsimi), Riley won the Post Graduate class!
Finally, all the hard work paid off at Border Union on 15th June under breed specialist Phil Thirlwell (Myrlea) when Riley was 2nd in the Post Graduate class behind the CC winner, and went on to win the reserve CC. Well done boys. We are very proud of all your hard work.

Thank you to Sean Taylor for the lovely photos of Riley - Renvall's Life of Riley at all his recent shows.
Sadly, during these super wins for Riley, we were touched by sadness yet again.
On 8th June, our precious girl Velvet - Renvall's Black Velvet, was suddenly taken from us.
Not a day of illness in her life, and huge part of our household, there is a void that can't be filled. We all miss Velvet so very much, but she will be forever in our hearts as "chief smiler", born Mother and total sweetheart.
The "smiling" gene remains with us through her beautiful daughters Cleo and Tigerlily and the idiot boy Norbert. Even her Granddaughter Lettuce and Great Granddaughter Beattie attempt a grin when they have been naughty! RIP Velvet Princess. xxx
A visit up to Leeds Championship show in July with Aoife - Mikudi Hot Lips for Renvall, sees the little madam qualify for Crufts from the largest class of the day!
The judge was breed specialist Carol Sayer (Cashay TTs).
Aoife enjoyed her day out!
The day finally arrives! Ring debut for Elmo - Renvall Thistle Do Nicely and his sisters Lupin - Renvall's Lupin for Love & Ria - Renvall's Mass Wisteria at City of Birmingham Championship Show under breed specialist David Wallis (Manorfields TTs).
We are thrilled when Elmo is awarded 2nd in his class and thus qualified for Crufts. Lupin is awarded 3rd, and also qualifies. Ria gave a good account of herself for her owner Margaret Landsell, but wasn't placed this time. Well done kids!

Renvall's Lupin For Love also qualifying for Crufts 2015 for the first time.
At Richmond Ch Show on 7th September under Angela Draper-Andrews (Lasang TTs), sees Riley - Renvall's Life of Riley win another 2nd in the Limit class in good company.
Then onto Darlington Championship show a week later under breed specialist Tony Green (Verony TTs) saw Riley win yet another 2nd in Limit.
The 5th October sees a return to the ring for our lovely girl Wallis - Renvall's Seen The Light along with her niece Lupin - Renvall's Lupin for Love and nephew Elmo - Renvall Thistle Do Nicely at the Tibetan Terrier Breeders and Owners Club open show.
The dogs were judged on this occasion by Ana Prevel (Rigaze TTs) and bitches by Jan Reynolds.
Elmo was awarded his first 1st winning the minor puppy dog class, and Lupin followed suit and won her first 1st, winning the minor puppy bitch class.
Wallis then went and pulled out all the stops, winning her first limit class, and went on to become Reserve Best Bitch! We are absolutely thrilled with these results, and thank both judges for thinking so highly of our little team.

Two weeks later at Midland Counties Championship Show, both Riley & his son Elmo - Renvall Thistle Do Nicely do it again! Elmo wins the minor puppy class and Riley wins the limit dog class and brings home the reserve CC. This time the judge was allrounder Ken Warrington.
A flying visit to the Tibetan Terrier Association Ch Show on Nov 1st to show Elmo - Renvall Thistle Do Nicely, sees him get a 2nd in good company in his last Minor Puppy class. We also had time to watch the lovely youngster Cloudbuster Ice N'a Slice with Chifido win the Puppy Class. He is son of Riley and half brother to Elmo & Lupin. Not to be outdone by his fabulous sons, Riley - Renvall's Life of Riley won a large Limit dog class. The judge this time was Susan Carr from USA (Salishan TTs).
8th Nov saw Riley attend Liverpool Kennel Association Open show under Ian Blackshaw (Souska) where he won Best of Breed and the Utility Group. He then went on to win Best In Show under Stephen Cox.
At BUBA Championship show on 6th Dec under Maureen Byrne (Siddhartha TTs), Riley stormed into 2nd in Limit .
On 11th Dec at LKA Championship Show under Geoff Cherry (Lynces TTs) saw Aimee show 5 of the "Renvall Ravers".
Elmo - Renvall Thistle Do Nicely was 2nd in Puppy Dog, Riley - Renvall's Life of Riley (handled on the day by Aimee) was 3rd in Limit dog, Lupin - Renvall's Lupin For Love was 3rd in Puppy bitch, Wallis - Renvall's Seen The Light was 2nd in Limit bitch and Aoife - Mikudi Hot Lips for Renvall who went unplaced in Open bitch but who showed her little socks off. A nice way to finish the championship show year off, and we'd like to thank Antonio Skaboullos for allowing Aimee to show Riley at this show.

Elmo - Renvall Thistle Do Nicely wowed the judge to win the Junior class, and eventually being declared Best of Breed and Best Puppy. Wallis - Renvall's Seen The Light, was also in attendance and was 2nd in the Open class.
Elmo then went on to win 3rd in the Adult Utility Group and 1st in the puppy group.
